Caption:	Badger excavating a ground squirrel hole
Notes:	This badger was vigorously excavating a ground squirrel hole apparently leading to a burrow that had pups in it as the pups were ejected (seen to pop out) of a very small hole in the road itself. The parent must have been well aware of the badger and attempted to protect the pups. Very interesting to watch,. Also videographed by Bob Landis.
